Study in South Korea from Uzbekistan: documents and D-2 visa

Uzbek educational records follow the my.gov.uz process. Use Tashkent’s 12 June 2026 visa revision; older financial figures must not be copied automatically.

Authentication follows the document’s issuing country. Citizenship and residence can differ: use the checklist of your consular jurisdiction. Your university and specific intake determine the exact required records, translations and submission format.

Documents: local preparation

  1. For an Uzbek school certificate/degree apostille, apply through my.gov.uz or a Public Services Centre; choose the authority by document type.

  2. The service lists separate higher-education/science and preschool/school ministries. Check the appropriate contact for school versus university records.

  3. The portal states two working days, up to ten when extra checks are needed. Allow this before the university’s authenticated-document deadline.

D-2 student and D-4 language visas

  1. Open Tashkent’s notice with attachments dated 12 June 2026: Korean PDF and Russian/Uzbek versions. Check your D-2/D-4 against that revision.

  2. Admission does not replace the visa language check. Confirm the certificate and level for your programme/teaching language in the 12 June revision; older thresholds are not treated as current.

  3. Do not apply one bank-holding period to every programme. Earlier guidance distinguished degrees, language courses and exchanges; confirm bank, amount and holding period in the new revision before opening an account.

The reviewing authority may request further education, financial, family or identity evidence if the submitted information is insufficient. There is no fixed document count by citizenship here. Before submitting, open the complete current university and consular instructions.

Language, university and programme

Check TOPIK, IELTS or TOEFL against your teaching language and programme. University language requirements and consular language checks may differ. GKS is a separate scholarship competition with its own guide; it does not replace regular admission.

Choose citizenship when registering. It stays in your account and can later be changed in your profile. This reference page does not change your account.
